Before applying please read the minimum qualifications required to be listed on our roster.
It is also important to remember that being listed on the roster does not guarantee you will be chosen to work by our clients
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
All qualifications must be current
GOLD MEDALLION
If you are applying from a country that does not have a Gold Medallion qualification you must hold an equivalent qualification through the national life saving body.
BOAT AND JET SKI LICENCE
You will not only be expected to be licenced in both boat and jet ski driving but you will have to demonstrate competency in both.
FIRST AID CERTIFICATE AND ART
Please ensure that both of these are current. You will be assessed on this knowledge during Luxury Lifeguards in house training
LEVEL 1 LUXURY LIFEGUARD
This is our in house training. You will be unable to be listed on our roster until you have completed this training. Courses are run periodically and are comprised of online, face to face and practical components
INTERVIEW
Once you have attained all the required qualifications, the final step in the application process is an interview where we ensure that you will be a good fit for the job. Our services extend far beyond just saving lives and it is important that our employees can be matched to our clientele.
EXTRA QUALIFICATIONS
Although the above are all that is required to be listed on the roster, it is highly desirable that you bring to your role other qualifications that set you apart from the rest of the roster. Common qualifications that our clients often look for are:
RSA/Bartending skills
Barista Skills
Surfing Intructor/skills
Freediving
Scuba Diving
SUP and Kayak Skills
Spearfishing
Paramedical training
Personal Training Certificate
